Dr. ANTHONY GHORAYEB, Non-Executive Chairman

Dr. Anthony Ghorayeb has for over 35 years practised banking and legal consulting in London, Geneva and New York and is well placed to use his experience and connections to generate interest in Ace’s UK property investment plans. He is Chairman and co-founder of LiBank, the Lebanese investment bank offering services tailored to HNWI clients and is also a founding member and secretary general of the Levant Business Union. He previously held senior positions at HSBC, credit Commercial de France, Banque Indosuez and BSI. He became a director of Ace in September 2013.

ISMAIL GHANDOUR, Chief Executive

Ismail Ghandour has been active in the UK, Europe and the Middle East for over twenty five years, developing a good knowledge of the property market as well as a strong network of contacts among other property investors, banks and professionals such as surveyors and solicitors. He initially took responsibility for his family’s property interests in Europe and the Lebanon, using that as a base for building up a portfolio of properties in the UK which is now 50% residential and 50% commercial. Over the last ten years, he has done deals worth over £250 million and his companies have grown to over £50million. He formed Ace in 2007 and successfully floated the company on PLUS (now ISDX).

IVAN MINTER, Finance Director

After qualifying as a  Chartered  Accountant, and  a spell as a sole practitioner,  Ivan Minter has acted as financial controller, finance  director and company secretary  in  a  number  of  companies operating in many different industries and markets, including floating companies on AIM and PLUS (predecessor of ISDX). More recently, he has held positions in the Financial Services Authority and the Bank of England, carrying out the prudential supervision of banks and building societies. He assisted Ismail Ghandour in the flotation of Ace in 2007.

MARK THOMAS, Commercial Director

Mark Thomas is a Chartered Surveyor and a director of Maybridge Commercial Ltd, a multi-disciplined firm created from the amalgamation of Maynards Chartered Surveyors formed over one hundred years ago and Thomas & Co Chartered Surveyors formed in 1998. His experience includes posts with Carter  Jonas,  Gerald  Eve  and  Fuller Peiser (now BNP Paribas Real Estate) carrying out valuations and offering strategic advice on the acquisition  and  sale  of  properties  throughout  the  United Kingdom and overseas. Assignments included the Hungarian state privatisation programme and secondment to Price Waterhouse. He has been a director of Ace since its flotation in 2007.

KEITH PANKHURST, Non-Executive Director

Keith  Pankhurst  has recently retired as the full time  Managing  Director of Ashdown Marks Ltd.,  an  independent  highly successful niche practice  of Property Consultants which he co-founded in 1985, based in Milner Street, Chelsea SW3, specialising in residential sales, lettings and investments. He brings to his role as Chairman over 35 years of property experience including 10  years working for highly reputable  and old established firms such as George Trollope and Sons, William Willett and Hamptons,  in  the  prime central London areas of Belgravia, Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea. He has been a director of Ace since its flotation in 2007.

HIKMAT EL-ROUSSTOM, Non-Executive Director

Hikmat El-Rousstom has a Bachelors and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Universities of Ottawa, Canada and AUB Beirut respectively. He went on to work as a civil engineer at Dar Al-Handasah in Beirut before becoming deputy general manager of Soil & Foundation Co., Ltd and later Geotechnical & Environmental Co. Ltd. Hikmat is now the general manager at Specialised Italian Foundation Co. Ltd. He became a director of Ace in November 2014.

KAYSSAR GHORAYEB, Non-Executive Director

Kayssar Ghorayeb is well fitted to use his experience and connections to generate interest in Ace’s UK property investment plans. He has graduate and post-graduate degrees from the Universities of London and Chicago as well as a career in banking and investment in London, Chicago and Beirut. He became a director of Ace in September 2012.
