Hume House was a former DWP government office. In the centre of Leeds next to the Leeds Arena and Leeds University is close by. On acquisition we looked at alternative uses for student accommodation following the expiry of the DWP lease in April 2018. This resulted in planning permission being granted in July 2018 for a large 37 storey student accommodation tower with a pre agreed sale to a student accommodation developer on grant of the planning permission.
